SUMMARY:NCCER Heavy Equipment Operator Course – Starts January 25th\, 2021 thru March 19\, 2021
DESCRIPTION:Monday – Friday\, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm \nAn eight-week (320 hour) course which utilizes the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum.  Attendees learn to operate two equipment types: primarily\, a dozer and an excavator.  The course includes two weeks of classroom training on construction math\, reading and understanding construction drawings and grades\, introduction to hand and power tools\, basic rigging\, basic material handling\, OSHA 10 certification for the construction industry\, DOT Flagger certification\, CPR/AED certification\, Employability Skills (resume prep and interviewing)\, Communication Skills\, and more.  Six weeks of hands-on\, field training on selected equipment.  NCCER is a globally recognized certification.
